From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you’re met with warm lighting, friendly staff, and a laid-back yet polished environment that invites you to stay a while. But what truly keeps people coming back is the food especially the barbecue. Their slow-roasted tri-tip, tender baby back ribs, and perfectly smoked brisket are nothing short of exceptional. Every bite bursts with rich, smoky flavor, and the generous portions ensure no one leaves hungry. The sides, too, deserve recognition from the garlic mashed potatoes to the signature peanut coleslaw, everything feels thoughtfully crafted and made from scratch. Wood Ranch strikes a rare balance between casual comfort and top-tier dining. It’s the kind of place where you can bring the family for a laid-back dinner, meet friends for drinks and ribs, or even celebrate a special occasion. Reasonable prices, quality ingredients, and consistent service have made it a go-to destination for barbecue lovers across Southern California, and a standout in the crowded dining scene.

Excellent service. Had the BBQ combo. Baby back ribs were excellent and the BBQ sauce really made the meat's flavor come through; however, the smoked brisket was dry. Possibly overcooked. On a positive note, their loaded baked potatoes and grilled asparagus were also excellent.

What a pleasant surprise! We were staying near this BBQ restaurant and decided to give it a try. The beef ribs are the best I have ever had. We also tried the pulled pork, which is also excellent. Don't sleep on this place!

My date and I stopped by Wood Ranch in Agoura Hills last Saturday night for a quick bite, and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we stepped out of the car, the incredible aroma of barbecue filled the air—our mouths were watering before we even walked in! Inside, the place had fantastic energy. It was great to see families gathered at the tables, and I loved that the booths weren’t just regular booths—they were huge, perfect for big groups. The vibe was warm and welcoming, with a sports bar feel in the best way possible—a little music, TVs playing the game, and an amazing bar staff. Speaking of the staff, the ladies at the bar were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We felt right at home. We weren’t overly hungry, so we shared a plate of pulled pork, corn on the cob, asparagus, and some amazing homemade bread. I also had a lovely glass of wine. The flavors were absolutely spot on—so delicious! The only small downside was that the food could have been a little warmer (especially the corn), but honestly, it was so good that we didn’t mind. Beyond the food, what really stood out was the atmosphere—it felt like the kind of place locals come back to again and again, and I can see why. Great energy, great service, and great food. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. I tried the tri-tip and baby back ribs while my wife had a filet. Everything was cooked perfectly. We both commented on how well it was prepared and how it was better than places that cost more back home. Our server, Ashley, was so friendly and helpful. Her service was even better than the food which was a very high bar to top. I don’t live nearby, but if I am ever in this area again, this will be a must stop.
